Dr. Douglas
Dr. Preston Douglas, a native of East Tennessee and the Colonial Heights area, completed his undergraduate studies in 2017 at King University, where he played baseball while studying Athletic Training and Biology. From there, he went to Life University in Atlanta, GA where he obtained his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 2020. As a Doctor of Chiropractic, Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician, and Certified Athletic Trainer Dr. Douglas brings knowledge in the field of sport medicine and wellness specializing in the treatment and prevention of sports-related musculoskeletal injuries.
Every time an athlete or patient is injured, there is usually an underlying cause leading to such injury or increasing the risk of injury. Dr. Douglas can help reduce the risk of injury by identifying these underlying causes. Dr. Douglas, as a team physician, works with a large patient population ranging from local high school and collegiate athletes, to the weekend warrior, utilizing numerous spinal and extremity manipulation techniques, soft tissue techniques, as well as rehabilitative exercise for correction and prevention of countless injuries.
Dr. Douglas also loves to provide care to a broad range of populations including children from birth to all ages, adults, families, and everything in between. Dr. Douglas spends his free time with his wife Ashton and two dogs, Freya and Felix, watching the Tennessee Volunteers or the Atlanta Braves.
